Dyna Blaster came out in 1992 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by Ubi Soft Entertainment Software. It was one of those early PC games that felt right at home in an era of simple graphics and straightforward gameplay, where you could just jump in without a lot of fuss.
You control a small character who navigates maze-like levels, placing bombs to destroy obstacles and defeat enemies. The main goal is to clear each screen of all enemies before moving to the next one. Key mechanics include collecting power-ups that increase your bomb blast radius or the number of bombs you can place at once, and timing your explosions carefully to avoid getting caught in them yourself. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty ramps up steadily as enemies get faster and levels more complex. It feels tense and satisfying when you pull off a well-planned chain of explosions.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
