Dyna Gear is one of those classic arcade platformers where you just grab a weapon and go. You pick either Roger or Wolf—I went with Wolf first because, well, he looks like he’s seen a few battles—and then it’s all about sprinting left, slashing dinos, and dodging whatever those weird little creatures are throwing at you.

The weapons feel satisfyingly chunky—swings of the sword have real weight, and the flail? Absolute chaos in the best way. The levels throw different dino types at you, some charging like they’ve got a personal grudge, others just lurking in the background. It’s simple, but the pacing keeps you hooked for "just one more run."

Also, the pixel art gives everything this rough, arcade-y charm. Those T-rex sprites somehow look both goofy and terrifying when they’re lunging at you. If you’re into no-nonsense action with a side of prehistoric weirdness, this one’s a solid time.
