Dynamite Dux came out for the Sega Master System in 1989, published by Sega. It was one of those side-scrolling beat 'em ups that felt right at home on the system, offering a straightforward, action-heavy experience without a lot of the complexity you'd see in some other titles from that era.

You play as one of two ducks, Bin or Pin, moving through urban and industrial settings. Your main goal is to rescue your kidnapped girlfriends by fighting through waves of enemies, including punks with mohawks and oversized frogs. You attack by throwing bombs, which explode after a short delay, and you can also perform a sliding kick or pick up weapons like pipes left by defeated foes. The game progresses screen by screen, and the pacing is fast, though the difficulty can spike with crowded enemy encounters. It feels silly and frantic, a messy brawler that doesn't take itself seriously at all.
