Elevator Action Returns is that perfect mix of old-school arcade chaos and just enough new tricks to keep things interesting. You pick one of three agents—Kart, Edie, or Jad—each with their own weapons and quirks (Jad’s rocket launcher is ridiculous in the best way). Then it’s straight into infiltrating buildings, shooting cameras before they trigger alarms, and kicking open doors to grab secret data. Some doors hide power-ups, others unleash a weird spinning prize wheel—half the fun is never knowing if you’ll get health or a machine gun.

The enemies are gloriously over-the-top: zombie soldiers, attack dogs, guys in trench coats who clearly missed the memo about subtlety. You can blow up barrels to take them out, but watch the clock—if you dawdle, the whole building explodes. It’s pure arcade nonsense, the kind where you’ll immediately hit "insert coin" after your first death just to see what the next level throws at you.
