Epic Pinball came out in 1993 for MS-DOS, published by Epic MegaGames. It was one of those games that felt right at home on a PC back then, with colorful tables and fast action that ran smoothly even on modest hardware. The game didn't try to be anything more than a solid, enjoyable pinball simulation, and it delivered exactly that.
You control the flippers, aiming to keep the silver ball in play as long as possible while hitting targets, ramps, and bumpers to rack up points. Each table has a unique theme, like a sci-fi Android table or a spooky Enigma table, with specific objectives and hidden bonuses. The physics are responsive, the pacing is quick, and the difficulty varies from table to table, with some demanding precise timing and others rewarding exploration. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
