Game Overview

Mario Pinball Land takes the usual "Bowser kidnaps Peach" setup and flips it—literally. This time, everyone’s a pinball. Mario gets launched like a silver ball, bouncing through themed tables filled with familiar enemies and obstacles. The first level feels like a chaotic playground—you’re ricocheting off bumpers, smashing Goombas for stars, and hunting for exits before slipping past the flippers into oblivion.

Each of the five worlds has its own vibe, from haunted houses to icy slopes, and clearing a table means wiping out every enemy on it. Some paths stay locked until you’ve collected enough stars, so there’s a bit of backtracking (and frustration when you lose your last ball). Boss fights are the highlight—weird, screen-filling contraptions where timing your shots matters more than luck. And if you’re into speedrunning, Time Attack mode lets you rematch them without the fluff.

It’s not the deepest pinball game, but the charm’s in the little details—like hearing Mario’s "wahoo!" as he tumbles down a ramp. Just don’t expect it to play like a real pinball table.
