Game Overview

Escape From Delirium came out in 1995 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Psygnosis. It was a strange, moody title from that era when PC games were experimenting with surreal atmosphere and puzzle design, often relying on pixelated graphics and a haunting synth soundtrack to build tension.

You control a nameless protagonist trapped in a shifting, illogical mansion, moving screen by screen through interconnected rooms. Your main goal is simply to escape, but that means solving a series of abstract puzzles, finding keys, and avoiding or confronting eerie, glitched-out entities. The pacing is deliberate, almost slow, which makes the sudden weirdness hit harder; one moment you're examining a bookshelf, the next a portrait is whispering hints or a wall dissolves into static. It feels like being lost in a digital nightmare, where every solved puzzle only pulls you deeper into the confusion.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
