Game Overview

Everybody's Tennis on PSP is one of those games that just feels cheerful from the moment you boot it up. The characters are all exaggerated and cartoony—like someone took a bunch of tennis stereotypes and cranked them up to 11. You’ve got the rich kid with a golden racket, the old man who somehow still dominates, and my personal favorite, the ninja who serves way too fast for someone wearing sandals.

The controls are simple enough that you can just pick it up and whack the ball around, but there’s some sneaky depth if you start messing with spin and timing. I spent way too long in the character creator giving my player the most ridiculous outfit possible (neon pink visor, checkered shorts—perfection). The courts range from basic clay to weird fantasy ones with bouncy obstacles, which keeps matches from feeling samey.

It’s not a hardcore sim by any means, but that’s the charm—it’s tennis with the seriousness dialed way down and the fun turned up. Perfect for quick sessions when you just want to unwind.
