Play F-Mario - Galaxy Cup Online
You start off stomping goombas like normal, then suddenly you're running circles around tiny planets while space-funk MIDI jams blast—just don't fall into the black holes. That final boss? Pure panic in zero gravity.
F-Mario - Galaxy Cup is one of those weird, wonderful SNES romhacks that makes you go, "Wait, Mario can do that?" It starts off familiar—green pipes, goombas, the usual—until you jump onto a tiny planet and suddenly you're running upside-down while synth beats blast in the background. The gravity stuff takes a minute to get used to (I faceplanted into a black hole more than once), but once it clicks, bouncing between floating islands feels oddly satisfying.
It’s got that janky-but-charming fan-game energy—some of the sprite edits are hilarious, like a goomba with a tiny astronaut helmet. The music’s all crunchy MIDI space funk, and the later levels get properly brutal. Not gonna lie, the final boss had me sweating. If you’ve ever wanted to see Mario drift through zero-G chaos like a confused Italian astronaut, this is your jam.
Just don’t expect Nintendo polish—half the fun is seeing how far the SNES gets pushed.
