Fatal Fury 3 is one of those old-school fighters that still holds up surprisingly well. The moment you boot it up, you're hit with that classic Neo Geo vibe—big, flashy sprites, exaggerated special moves, and a roster that mixes familiar faces like Terry Bogard with some wild newcomers. The fighting feels weighty, like you're actually trading blows instead of just tapping buttons.
What I love is how each character plays completely differently—some rely on quick combos, others on slow, heavy hits. Took me a few rounds to figure out who clicked with me (ended up sticking with Hon-Fu and his ridiculous chain attacks). The stages even have these little interactive bits, like breaking through walls mid-fight, which keeps things chaotic in the best way.
It's not the most polished fighter out there now, but if you're into that raw, arcade-era energy, this one's a blast. Just don't blame me when you lose an hour trying to nail that one combo.
