Play Fatal Fury (Europe) Online

Dodge between planes to avoid attacks, then nail someone with Terry’s Power Wave—it’s janky but satisfying, like finding the groove in an old arcade cabinet. Geese’s moonlit tower still hits different.

Game Overview

Fatal Fury on SNES is where it all started for SNK's fighting game legacy. You've got Terry Bogard with his red cap and signature moves, his brother Andy, and Joe Higashi kicking things off—classic characters that stuck around for decades. The controls feel a little stiff compared to later fighters, but there's something raw and satisfying about landing a Power Wave in this early version.

What's cool is the two-plane system—you can hop between foreground and background to dodge attacks, which was pretty fresh back then. Geese Howard's stage has that iconic moonlit tower vibe, and Billy Kane's staff moves are way flashier than they have any right to be. It's rough around the edges, but you can see why this series stuck around.
