Game Overview

Man, Fates of Twinion takes me back—this was one of those MS-DOS dungeon crawlers that got left behind when Sierra’s online service shut down. Originally meant for multiplayer, it still holds up as a solo RPG, even if you’re just hacking through the usual "kill the big bad" storyline. The dungeons are packed with weird monsters, and I remember getting sidetracked by random side quests way more than I should’ve.

It’s not groundbreaking, but the spell variety and enemy designs give it some personality. If you’re new to old-school RPGs, this one’s a solid pick—just don’t expect deep lore. The combat’s straightforward, and the pixel art has that nostalgic charm. Definitely better than most of the shovelware from that era.

Still kinda sad we never got to experience the online version, though.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
