You can play solo or team up with friends, which is nice because the dungeons get pretty tough. Story Mode follows the twins’ journey, but Multiplay lets you dive into those same dungeons with up to three people—way more fun when you’re not getting swarmed by monsters alone.

Picking your tribe actually matters here. Clavats are balanced, Yukes are magic-heavy with this cool ability to reveal hidden stuff, Selkies zip around with double jumps, and Lilties? They just roll everywhere in these giant urns like absolute madmen. It’s hilarious until you realize they’re actually useful for crossing spikes and gaps.

The magic system’s the real standout, though. You drag these circles around to cast spells, and if you’re playing with friends, you can stack them to make bigger, crazier effects. Mix fire and blizzard? Yeah, that does something completely different. It takes a second to get used to, but once it clicks, you’ll be setting up combos like a pro.

It’s got that classic Final Fantasy charm, just with more rolling around in pots.
