Game Overview
Fighting Golf is this weird little arcade game where golf suddenly turns into a brawl. You’ve got your standard putting mechanics—wind, slopes, all that—but then your opponent can literally punch your ball off course if you’re not careful. I lost three strokes in a row the first time because I didn’t realize the other guy could just elbow-drop my perfect shot into a sand trap.
The courses start simple, but later ones have these ridiculous hazards like moving obstacles and patches that reverse your ball’s spin. And yeah, you can fight back—time your power shots right, and you might send their ball flying into the water instead. It’s janky in that classic arcade way, but once you get the timing down, there’s something weirdly satisfying about nailing a putt while your rival’s still recovering from your last counterattack.
Just don’t expect PGA Tour realism. This is golf if it were directed by someone who thought explosions improved everything.
