Game Overview

Fist Fighter is one of those classic Amiga brawlers where you pick a fighter—I always went for the ninja—and duke it out in places like a dusty Egyptian temple or a neon-lit American alley. The screen gives you just enough room to back up or rush in, and the moves are simple but satisfying: a few well-timed punches or kicks can turn the tide.

What I like is how straightforward it is. You pick your fighter, pick the stage, and go. The health bars at the top shrink fast if you’re not careful, and that 99-second timer keeps things tense. Play it solo against the AI or grab a friend for some chaotic two-player matches—either way, someone’s getting knocked out.

It’s not the deepest fighter out there, but it’s got that old-school charm where you can just jump in and throw hands without overthinking it. The ninja’s spinning kick still feels unfair in the best way.
