Flintstones 2 - The Surprise At Dinosaur Peak!, The is a classic NES platformer where you play as Fred and Barney trying to rescue Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm. The first thing you notice is how stiff the controls feel—jumping has this weird delay, and hitting enemies with your club takes some getting used to.
The levels are full of dinosaurs, falling rocks, and those annoying pterodactyls that swoop down when you least expect it. The graphics are decent for an NES game, with bright colors and recognizable characters, but some of the platforming sections are just brutal. One wrong jump and you're back at the start of the stage.
It's not a bad game, but it's definitely one of those "Nintendo hard" titles where you'll die a lot before figuring out the patterns. Flintstones 2 - The Surprise At Dinosaur Peak!, The is a solid challenge if you're into retro platformers, but don't expect it to go easy on you.
