Game Overview

Dinosaur Predators was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a release that bundled several titles from that era without a specific developer or publisher credited upfront. It fits right into the mid-90s landscape of PC gaming, where ambitious concepts often met the technical constraints of the hardware, resulting in experiences that were rough but memorable.

You control a large carnivorous dinosaur, navigating through a series of side-scrolling levels filled with smaller prey and rival predators. The main goal is simply to survive and dominate the environment by hunting everything in sight. Signature mechanics include a pounce attack to catch faster creatures, a tail whip to fend off attackers from behind, and a territorial roar that can scare smaller dinosaurs away. The pacing is aggressive, with constant threats requiring quick reactions, and the difficulty comes from managing your dinosaur's stamina and health between encounters. It feels like being dropped into a chaotic, prehistoric food chain where every movement could start a fight.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
