You control Franko, a guy out for payback, moving through urban environments punching and kicking your way through waves of aggressive foes. The main goal is to clear each screen of enemies before progressing, using simple combo attacks that, while a bit stiff, have a solid sense of impact. You'll also jump across platforms and occasionally face off against bizarre bosses, like a sentient brick wall that sums up the game's odd charm.
