Game Overview

FreeCell Plus came out in 1995 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Goodsol Development Inc. It was one of those quiet, thoughtful games you’d load up after a long day, a digital deck of cards waiting patiently on a simple screen. In an era of pixelated platformers and early 3D experiments, it offered something different: a clean, focused logic puzzle that demanded attention without flashy distractions.

You control the movement of cards across eight tableau columns, four free cells, and four foundation piles. The goal is to sort all 52 cards by suit and in ascending order onto the foundations. Key mechanics include temporarily storing cards in the free cells to access lower cards and building descending sequences of alternating colors in the tableau. The game requires careful planning and foresight, as a single misplaced card can block your progress. Most deals are solvable with patience, though a few might stump you. It feels like quietly untangling a knot, one thoughtful move at a time.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
