Frog is a 1981 arcade game from Konami. It came out during that early period when arcade cabinets were everywhere, and games were simple in concept but sharp in execution. You see it there between the space shooters and the maze chases, a straightforward idea built for quick plays and high scores.

You control a small frog trying to get home. Your goal is to guide it from the bottom of the screen to one of five lily pads at the top, avoiding cars on the road and hopping on logs and turtles across the river. Each stage is a single screen; you move one hop at a time, timing each jump to avoid traffic or sinking objects. The pace is methodical, but the timing is tight, and mistakes are instant.
