Game Overview

Frogger II: Three Deep! came out in 1984 from Parker Brothers, one of those MS-DOS games you'd load from a floppy disk. It was a direct sequel to the arcade hit, expanding the simple road and river crossing into a much weirder, three-part journey. It fit right into that era where sequels tried to do more, even if the graphics were still just blocks of color on a dark screen.

You control the same determined frog, but now your goal is to rescue your frog family from three distinct worlds: a city street, outer space, and an underwater reef. The core mechanic remains timing your hops to avoid obstacles, but each screen introduces its own hazards. You dodge speeding cars and leap onto moving trucks, then navigate a field of meteors and alien ships, and finally swim past hungry sharks and tricky currents. The difficulty ramps up sharply, especially with the underwater section where the currents can push you into danger if you don't anticipate their flow. It feels like a tense, methodical puzzle where every jump counts.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
