Game Overview
Full Throttle Racing (Europe) is one of those SNES racers that doesn’t mess around—no fancy licenses, no frills, just you, a tiny car, and a track that feels like it’s actively trying to throw you into a wall. The first time I played, I wiped out on like three corners in a row before realizing you actually have to brake sometimes (who knew?).
It’s got that classic arcade chaos—top-down for some tracks, weird pseudo-3D for others, and traffic that swerves into you like it’s personal. Multiplayer’s where it really shines, though. My brother and I used to elbow each other mid-race because someone *always* "accidentally" nudged the other into a lamppost. Still holds up if you’re into that old-school, white-knuckle racing vibe.
Not the prettiest game in the SNES library, but good luck putting it down after the first race.
