Play Gateworld Online
You guide a blocky dude through chaotic teleport jumps—each gate tosses you somewhere random, usually into trouble. Starts easy, then suddenly you're sweating over gate paths like a confused time traveler.

Gateworld is one of those weird little MS-DOS games that sticks in your brain. You control this tiny blocky guy jumping between gates—except every teleport flings you somewhere unpredictable, like the game’s playing tricks on you. Half the time I’d land right next to an enemy and panic-jump into another gate, which… yeah, usually made things worse.
The first few levels lull you into thinking it’s simple, then suddenly you’re staring at the screen trying to map out paths in your head like some deranged architect. It’s got that old-school charm where the rules aren’t explained—you just figure it out through trial and error (mostly error). I still remember the stupid grin when I finally beat that one level where the exit kept moving every time I blinked.
If you like games that mess with space without holding your hand, Gateworld’s worth digging up. Just don’t blame me when you’re muttering at your monitor at 2 AM.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
