Game Overview

Gauntlet III - The Final Quest on the Amiga is one of those games that feels like a chaotic dungeon crawl with friends—if you can convince them to play. You pick your classic fantasy class (warrior, wizard, elf, or valkyrie) and then just try to survive wave after wave of monsters while hoovering up food and gold. The levels are maze-like, and the enemies respawn if you're too slow, so there's this constant pressure to keep moving.

It's got that old-school arcade vibe where everything's a little clunky but weirdly addictive. The graphics are colorful, the sound effects are chunky, and the controls... well, they take some getting used to. Still, there's something satisfying about blasting skeletons with magic or watching your warrior plow through a crowd of ghosts. Just don't expect a deep RPG—this is pure hack-and-slash nostalgia.

If you played the original Gauntlet back in the day, this one feels like a slightly messier but still fun sequel.
