Play Gazza II Online
Shoulder-barge blocky defenders, slide the ball past a keeper who moves like a fridge, and celebrate with that sweet *thunk* of the net—Gazza II is pure, janky DOS football nostalgia.

Gazza II came out in 1990 for MS-DOS, published by Empire Interactive. It was one of many football games from that era, competing on home computers where simple graphics and straightforward controls were the norm. You got a top-down view of the pitch, with players represented as small, colorful sprites, and the whole thing felt very much of its time.
You control the entire team, passing and shooting with basic keyboard commands. The main objective is to score more goals than the opponent, navigating through a league or cup structure. Signature mechanics include a slide tackle that often feels more like a desperate lunge, and a shot power bar that requires careful timing. The game moves at a brisk pace, and the difficulty can spike sharply against computer teams that seem to read your inputs. It feels like a scrappy, unpredictable match where every goal comes from sheer persistence.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
