Play Gear Works on Msdos Online
You twist and nudge gears into place on a grid, that little *clink* sound rewarding each perfect fit—until suddenly the puzzle laughs at your overconfidence.

Game Overview
Gear Works on MS-DOS is one of those games that proves you don’t need fancy graphics to be completely absorbing. At first glance, it’s just gears and grids—but five minutes in, you’re hunched over your keyboard, muttering at the screen as you try to rotate that one stubborn piece into place. The sound design alone is weirdly satisfying—every successful connection gives off this tiny metallic clink that just feels right.
What starts as "oh, this is easy" quickly turns into "how am I supposed to fit THAT in there?" territory. Some levels feel like solving a mechanical jigsaw puzzle where half the pieces are missing. And yet, when everything finally clicks (literally), it’s the best kind of retro gaming satisfaction. If you’ve ever lost hours to Pipe Dream or Incredible Machine, this one’s right up your alley. Just don’t blame me when you realize you’ve been at it long enough for your floppy drive to overheat.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
