Play Ghost House (Japan) Online
You play as a tiny dude with a ridiculous giant fist, punching ghosts and dodging bats in a clunky but charming 8-bit haunted house. The stiff controls and cheap deaths scream 80s platformer, but walloping Dracula with that cartoon hand never gets old.

Ghost House came out for the Sega Master System in 1986, developed and published by Sega. It was part of that early wave of SMS titles, sitting alongside games like Alex Kidd, offering a spooky, action-oriented alternative to the platformers and arcade ports of the time.
You control Mick, a boy exploring a haunted mansion to rescue his girlfriend. The goal is to find six hidden crosses scattered across the mansion's single-screen rooms. You punch enemies like ghosts and bats with a large, exaggerated fist; the combat is simple but requires careful timing due to the stiff controls. Exploration is methodical, room by room, with a high chance of surprise enemy attacks that keep the tension steady. It feels like a tense, slightly janky crawl through a house that really doesn't want you there.
