Play Ghosts N Goblins on Msdos Online
Guide Arthur through creepy levels, battling zombies and monsters, tossing weapons, and trying to rescue the princess while dodging hits that leave you in your underwear.
Ghosts N Goblins came out for MS-DOS in 1985, part of a wave of arcade ports that tested home computers. Capcom published it, and it was one of those games that felt punishing even by the standards of its time. You knew what you were getting into if you had played it in the arcades, but the PC version had its own quirks, like keyboard controls that could make an already tough game feel even more demanding.
You control a knight named Arthur, moving screen by screen through a horror-themed landscape. Your main goal is to rescue a princess from a demon lord, fighting off zombies, crows, and other monsters along the way. You throw lances or other weapons you pick up, and one hit strips you down to your underwear, leaving you vulnerable until you find new armor. The pacing is relentless, with enemies swarming from all directions, and the difficulty is famously steep. It feels like a constant, frantic scramble where every small victory matters.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
