Play Gladiators Online
1993 Amiga action game featuring one-on-one gladiator combat with swords and shields. Includes multiple arenas, AI opponents with unique styles, and local two-player mode.

Gladiators came out for the Amiga in 1993, developed by Imagitec Design and published by Virgin Games. It was part of that wave of early 90s action titles that tried to capture the feel of arcade combat on home systems, with a focus on direct, skill based challenges rather than complex storylines or exploration.
You control a gladiator armed with a sword and shield, facing off against a series of opponents in one-on-one arena combat. The main objective is to defeat each warrior to progress through the tournament. Signature mechanics include blocking incoming attacks with your shield, timing your own sword swings to break an opponent's guard, and managing your limited stamina. The pacing is fast and the difficulty can be unforgiving, demanding quick reflexes and pattern recognition. It feels tense and immediate, like a rapid series of dangerous duels where every mistake costs you.
