Play Mick & Mack as the Global Gladiators Online
Jump and run through quirky levels as Mick or Mack, collect golden arches, clean up pollution, and take down goofy enemies on your way to save the planet.
Mick & Mack as the Global Gladiators came out on the Sega Master System in 1993, published by Virgin Games. It was one of those late-era platformers that tried to do something different, using a McDonald's license in a way that felt more like a strange environmental adventure than a straightforward ad.
You control either Mick or Mack, jumping through themed levels to collect golden arches and clean up pollution. The main goal is to progress screen by screen, using a projectile weapon to defeat enemies like walking fries and bouncing on giant hamburgers as platforms. The pacing is brisk, and some sections demand precise jumps, making it a decent challenge for its time. It feels like a slightly janky but genuinely earnest attempt to make an eco-conscious game with a corporate skin.
