God Eater 2 came out for the PlayStation Portable in 2013, developed by Shift and published by Bandai Namco. The game built on its predecessor's foundation, offering a more refined take on its particular style of monster hunting in a world overrun by predatory creatures known as Aragami.
You control a custom character who joins a specialized military unit tasked with eliminating Aragami threats. Your main objective is to complete missions across various ruined environments, fighting large monsters with a weapon called a God Arc that can shift between melee and gun forms.
