You control a custom character who joins an organization fighting monstrous Aragami in a post-apocalyptic world. Your main goal is to complete missions, gather materials, and upgrade your God Arc, a weapon that can shift between blade, gun, and shield forms. Combat is fast and demanding; you need to read enemy movements, manage stamina, and use Devour attacks to absorb Aragami parts and activate temporary buffs. The pacing is intense, with missions often throwing multiple large enemies at you, requiring quick adaptation and resource management. It feels like a constant dance of aggression and survival, where every mistake costs you.
