Play Nectar of the Gods Online

You play as a mischievous Greek god—answer prayers properly or just mess with mortals by turning their temples into beehives. The clunky MS-DOS interface somehow makes it funnier.

Game Overview

Ever wanted to mess with ancient Greeks like some kind of divine prankster? Nectar of the Gods turns you loose as a petty deity with a pixelated playground. You'll start by picking which god to embody—Zeus is classic, but I had way too much fun as Dionysus making entire villages drunk off their mortal minds.

The first ten minutes go like this: some farmer prays for sunshine, another begs for crops, and you? You're debating whether to actually help or just zap their temple with lightning for fun. The interface looks straight out of 1992 (because it is), but that's part of the charm—there's something hilarious about watching tiny villagers panic when you replace their requested rainfall with a swarm of bees.

It's got that Populous vibe but way less serious. Half the fun comes from seeing how badly you can imbalance the world before mortals stop worshipping you entirely. Pro tip: don't smite every heretic immediately, or you'll run out of followers to torment. Unless that's your goal—no judgment here, oh mighty one.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
