The Great Circus Mystery Starring Mickey & Minnie came out on the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed and published by Capcom. It was part of that wave of Disney platformers that felt right at home on the SNES, colorful and straightforward, without trying to reinvent the wheel.
You control either Mickey or Minnie, working through circus themed stages to rescue your friends from a mysterious villain. The game is built around co op play, with two players able to team up, throw each other to higher platforms, and occasionally accidentally knock one another into hazards. You'll swing on trapezes, bounce on trampolines, and toss projectiles like apples and bowling pins at enemies. The pacing is brisk, the difficulty fair but not trivial, and it feels like a cheerful, cooperative scramble from start to finish.
