Remember that old SNES gem The Great Circus Mystery with Mickey and Minnie? It’s one of those Disney platformers that somehow flew under the radar—which is a shame, because bouncing around circus tents dodging rogue popcorn machines while Minnie actually gets to do stuff (for once!) is way more fun than it has any right to be.

The first thing you’ll notice is how it feels like a cartoon—everything’s bright, bouncy, and slightly unhinged in that classic Disney way. One minute you’re hopping across tightropes while clowns throw pies, the next you’re riding a giant balloon through a storm of floating rings. And yeah, the co-op mode is chaotic in the best possible way—try not to accidentally throw Minnie into a pit when you meant to high-five her.

It’s not the hardest game out there, but there’s something about the way the levels mix circus gimmicks with solid platforming that just works. Also, the soundtrack slaps. If you missed this one back in the day, it’s like finding a forgotten bag of cotton candy—sweet, colorful, and weirdly satisfying.
