Hard Drivin' came out in 1989 for MS-DOS, published by Atari Games. It was one of those early attempts to bring a serious driving simulator home, back when just getting a 3D polygonal car to move convincingly on screen felt like a minor miracle. The graphics were incredibly primitive by today's standards, all jagged lines and sparse landscapes, but at the time it was a technical showcase that pushed home computers to their limits.

You control a sports car from a first-person perspective, tasked with completing a short but punishing course filled with obstacles like a loop-the-loop and a treacherous jump. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
