Game Overview

Hell Raiser on the Amiga throws you into this chaotic space war where these alien jerks—the Hellraisers—have taken over Hazbal, a planet that basically runs the galaxy’s shipping lanes. Your job? Kick them out, obviously.

What’s cool is how it switches things up every other level. Half the time you’re this mercenary dude running and gunning through side-scrolling stages—jumping over pits, blasting anything that twitches, and figuring out weird teleporters. The other half, you’re in a spaceship doing top-down shooter stuff, weaving through enemy fire and grabbing random power-ups they drop when exploded (because of course space battles have loot).

It’s got that classic Amiga vibe where everything’s a little janky but in a charming way, and the shift between on-foot and ship combat keeps you from getting bored. Just don’t expect the teleporters to make sense on your first try.
