Game Overview

This Amiga version of the classic board game nails that old-school dungeon crawl feel. You’ve got four heroes—wizard, dwarf, barbarian, elf—each with their own quirks, and they start scattered across the board like someone tossed them there. The turn-based movement is strict (roll dice, move squares, no cheating), and you’ll spend a lot of time debating whether to attack that orc now or save your spell for later.

The isometric view makes everything look like a diorama of chaos, and yeah, you’ll absolutely walk into traps if you’re not careful. Found a potion? Could be healing, could be poison—no labels here. And that shop between levels? Half the time I just hoard gold because who knows if the next floor has something worse lurking.

It’s clunky in that charming '80s way, but once you get the rhythm, sending your elf to pick off monsters from afar while the barbarian tanks hits feels oddly satisfying. Just don’t expect Morcar to go down easy.
