Hired Guns: Disk 4 is the final part of a four-disk first-person shooter released by Psygnosis for the Amiga in 1993. It arrived late in the Amiga's life, a time when the platform was still home to ambitious, technically demanding games that pushed its hardware. This installment continues the sci-fi mercenary mission, requiring players to have progressed through the earlier disks.

You control a squad of up to four mercenaries, either solo or with friends in multiplayer, navigating maze-like alien bases and industrial complexes. The main objective is to eliminate hostile forces, complete mission goals, and survive increasingly deadly encounters. Signature mechanics include managing your team's inventory and health in real time, switching between characters to use their specialized skills, and engaging in fast, run-and-gun combat with a variety of futuristic weapons. The pacing is tense and methodical; you often clear areas room by room, anticipating ambushes around each corner. It feels like directing a chaotic, violent ballet where every shot and medkit counts.
