Game Overview
So here’s the deal: you play as Peter Banning, a regular dad who’s actually Peter Pan in hiding—yeah, that Peter Pan. When Captain Hook (still holding a grudge, obviously) kidnaps his kids, Peter has to ditch the dad life and go back to Neverland. And by "go back," I mean he literally turns into a kid again. Classic Hook move.
It’s a point-and-click adventure that feels a lot like Monkey Island, but with more pixie dust and fewer insult sword fights. The screen’s split—top part shows where you are, bottom has icons for all the usual adventure game stuff: look at things, pick them up, talk to pirates (who are somehow still salty about Peter). The puzzles are pretty clever—you’ll end up combining random junk in your inventory just to see what works. Like, why wouldn’t you use a coconut as a bowling ball?
If you miss the days of pixelated pirate shenanigans and absurd item combos, this one’s a solid throwback. Just don’t expect Hook to go down without a fight.
