Play Hook on Snes Online
You play as a grumpy Peter Pan who rediscovers flying while bonking pirates with barrels—levels jump from pirate ships to icy slides, with enemies that just flail dramatically when hit.

Hook came out on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992, developed by Ukiyotei. It was part of that wave of movie tie-ins that tried to capture the adventure of the film, fitting right in with the platformers and action games of the era.
You control Peter Pan, who has forgotten how to fly and fights with a sword and by throwing barrels at pirates. The main goal is to rescue the children from Captain Hook, moving through levels set on pirate ships, in jungles, and across icy terrain. The game uses a screen by screen exploration structure, with combat that involves timing your sword slashes and aiming thrown objects. It can be a bit unforgiving with enemy placement and some tricky jumps. Playing it feels like slowly remembering how to be a hero again, one clumsy flight and well aimed barrel at a time.
