Game Overview

I Play - 3D Tennis was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, released in 1990 by developer and publisher Digital Integration. It arrived during a period when early polygonal graphics were still finding their footing, offering a straightforward take on tennis simulation without the visual polish of later titles.

You control a simple, blocky figure on a flat court, moving with keyboard controls to hit a ball back and forth. The main goal is to outscore your opponent, either in singles against the computer or with a friend in two-player mode. Signature mechanics include the game's unconventional ball physics, where shots can bounce at odd angles, and the fixed, isometric perspective that limits depth perception. Matches move at a deliberate pace, and the difficulty comes from anticipating the ball's erratic behavior. It feels like a charming, low-stakes challenge where every point is a small surprise.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
