Ignition is one of those MS-DOS racers that somehow nails the perfect mix of chaos and strategy. You pick from a weirdly fun lineup of vehicles—like, do you go for the school bus that handles like a brick but can bulldoze through traffic, or the zippy cop car that spins out if you breathe on the steering too hard? The tracks are full of dumb little hazards and shortcuts that actually matter, and the AI doesn’t just rubberband; it straight-up fights you for position.
What really sold me back in the day was the split-screen multiplayer. Cramming two players onto one monitor felt like a miracle in the '90s, and the races got hilariously cutthroat. Even solo, the championship mode keeps you hooked with new tracks that get progressively more ridiculous. It’s the kind of game where you’ll restart a race five times just to nail that one stupid turn.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
