I first played Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade on the NES back in 1991, a game published by UBI Soft. You move Indy through side scrolling environments, using his whip to attack enemies, swing over pits, and occasionally interact with objects. The main goal is to recover the Holy Grail, which involves finding keys, solving environmental puzzles, and navigating trap filled rooms. Combat is straightforward but clunky, mostly consisting of whipping Nazis and avoiding projectiles. The pacing is uneven, with some sections dragging due to stiff controls and instant death traps.
