Game Overview

International Athletics is that old-school MS-DOS track-and-field game where your keyboard becomes an Olympic arena. You’ll hammer keys like a maniac—left and right for sprinting, some wild timing for the long jump—while blocky little athletes shuffle across the screen. The music sounds like a MIDI marching band, but somehow it makes you try even harder.

I always lost at javelin (no idea why), but hurdles? That was my event. The controls are simple, but good luck not messing up when your friend’s breathing down your neck for the high score. It’s one of those games where you don’t realize you’re sweating until after the race. Pure, chaotic fun from the days before games needed realism to feel intense.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
