Iron Horse is this old-school arcade game where you play as a lone cowboy trying to stop a train full of outlaws. The side-scrolling action has you moving left to right along the train cars—sometimes ducking inside, sometimes hopping onto the roof—while dodging or taking down enemies. I always went for the pistol at the start, but the whip has this satisfying crack that makes close-quarters fights way more dramatic.

Bandits come at you with everything: guns, whips, even dynamite. One wrong move and you lose a life—and trust me, those lives disappear fast when someone starts chucking fire at you. The real panic sets in when the screen locks and you’re suddenly swarmed by a dozen enemies with no way forward until you clear them all. Gold bags are scattered around for points, but half the time I’m too busy trying not to get shot to grab them. It’s pure cowboy chaos from start to finish.
