Game Overview
Iron Man 2 on the DS is basically you blasting through the sky in Tony Stark’s suit, dodging missiles and punching drones out of the air. The controls are surprisingly smooth for a handheld—double-tap to boost, hold a button to lock onto targets, and just go wild with repulsor beams. Boss fights actually feel like boss fights, too—you’ll weave around Whiplash’s electric whips or outmaneuver armored tanks.
It’s not all flying, though. Some missions drop you into cramped corridors where you’re juggling enemy fire and overheating systems. Graphics are decent for the DS, with little details like the HUD flickering when you take a hit. Not gonna lie, the story’s thin (it loosely follows the movie), but who cares when you’re shoulder-checking a jet midair? If you ever wanted to feel like a one-man air force, this nails it.
