Game Overview
I picked up Iron Man 2 for the PSP back in 2010, a portable tie-in to the movie developed by High Voltage Software and published by Sega. You control either Tony Stark as Iron Man or James Rhodes as War Machine, flying through linear levels and engaging waves of enemy drones and armored suits. The main objective is to complete mission-based scenarios, often involving protecting allies or destroying key targets. Signature mechanics include switching between multiple weapon systems on the fly, like repulsors and missiles, and managing your suit's energy reserves for both offense and defense. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can spike during boss fights where evasion becomes critical. It feels chaotic but rewarding when you successfully weave through enemy fire while unleashing a full arsenal.
