Game Overview

Okay, so Karate Kid Part II on the Amiga—it’s exactly what it sounds like. You play as Daniel LaRusso, throwing punches and kicks in a side-scrolling beat 'em up that feels like a mix of nostalgia and jank. The sprites are big and colorful, but the controls? A little stiff, like you’re fighting in actual karate gear. Still, there’s something charming about the way it tries to cram the movie’s drama into short levels where you brawl through dojos and back alleys.

Music’s catchy, though. And hey, at least it’s not another lazy movie tie-in—you actually get to fight Chozen, which is way more satisfying than it should be. Just don’t expect deep mechanics. It’s pure 80s arcade vibes with a side of questionable hitboxes.
