Game Overview

Okay, so Kart Fighter is basically what happens when someone bootlegs Street Fighter II but swaps out Ryu and friends for Mario Kart characters. It's janky, weird, and honestly feels like someone's weird fan project that somehow made it onto an NES cart. You've got Mario throwing fireballs like Ryu, Peach doing Chun-Li's spinning bird kick (which looks ridiculous with her dress), and Bowser as the final boss—twice, because why not?

The sprites are this weird mix of original art and stuff clearly ripped from other games—like, I swear Koopa's shell attack animation is just recycled from Little Nemo. The music's original though, in that 'someone tried their best with NES sound chips' kind of way. Oh, and surprise! There is a two-player mode if you mash the A button on the second controller at the right time. Not that you'd want to subject a friend to this, but hey, it's there.
