Game Overview

If you thought dodgeball was just about throwing balls and ducking, Kunio-kun no Dodge Ball dayo Zenin Shuugou! will happily prove you wrong. This SNES gem—Japan-only, of course—takes the already ridiculous River City formula and turns it into a full-blown dodgeball brawl. Teams of tiny delinquents don’t just throw balls; they hurl them like cannon fire, pull off absurd special moves, and sometimes just drop the ball entirely to punch each other in the face. It’s less "gym class" and more "back-alley fight with a ball occasionally involved."

The Tournament Special version cranks everything up—faster, meaner, with secret characters lurking if you’re good (or persistent) enough. The AI doesn’t play fair, and neither should you. One second you’re lining up a perfect throw, the next your guy’s flying off-screen like he got hit by a truck. Grab a friend if you can, because the chaos is even better when you’ve got someone to yell at. It’s dumb, loud, and exactly what you’d expect from the guys who brought you River City Ransom.
